Alexis is a certified Suzuki teacher and teaches children and adults of all ages. The Suzuki method does not teach note reading at the beginning of violin instruction, but rather focuses on ear training. She teaches her students to have a solid foundation in Classical music, but also encourages them to explore other styles!  She also loves to teach improvisation to curious students.

Music is a beautiful place to learn confidence, discipline, focus, teamwork, and perseverance. Alexis studies Alexander Technique, which teaches you how to use your body with the most ease and absence of tension.  She integrates this in her teaching to help her students play with comfort and no pain.

She is also available for beginning and intermediate piano lessons.
